Dye sublimation paint technique

In this technique solid colorant is vaporised without passing through the liquid stage. This process is similar to children's water transfers that can stick on skin, except that the transfer of the film onto the fabric process is undertaken using hot gas, a process that is often used during ceramic tile and metal manufacture. This can take place onto the silicon-based coatings and onto the standard balloon nylon as the paint, is captured, by the polyurethane coatings. Even on close inspection the boundaries of each section and colour of artwork are very sharp and clear.
